A Dark Prophecy Part 4

Riverkit stared as everyone in camp fought, the senior warriors were fighting with Dawnstar, and Shadowfang was busy fighting the rouge leader as Amberpaw, running back from where Dawnstar was explained. The apprentices and warriors were fighting hard, outnumbered by the rouges. The only one guarding the nursery was Whiteshadow, fighting to protect her and her brother. Whiteshadow was dragged from the entrance and a huge warrior came into the den. Nobody was there to help, they were in danger themselves. The warrior picked up Stonekit and pressed him to the ground. She leaped at the right angle, knowing exactly how he'd turn. She bit into his shoulder hard and leaped off seconds before he could squish her. Stonekit stuggled to the back of the den trying to make a hole to escape out of. Riverkit landed at just the right angle....CRACK! The warrior yowled in pain and limped out of camp. "Riverkit you did it!" Stonekit cried exitedly. "I also found a hole in a rock, but it's only big enough for one of us." he told her. "You stay there, I need to help!" Riverkit mewed. She raced out into the camp and saw Shadowfang struggling against Thorn, the leader of the rouges. He was going to deal a death blow, exactly how Moonwhisker died, Shadowfang's brother. Right before that Riverkit jumped on to his face screeching angrily. Shadowfang leaped up and saw the little kit dodging and hitting Thorn. Shadowfang leap to help Riverkit who had leaped off Thorn and stood behind Shadowfang as she weakened him farther. He broke away and shouted "Retreat!" Almost at once all rouges were streaming out of the camp. Swiftwing and Leopardpaw raced to treat wounds. "Thank you little one, but you should have been safe in the Nursery." Shadowfang mewed. Stonekit bolted out into the clearing. "It was awesome! After Whiteshadow was dragged from the entrance and had to fight a warrior, a more humongous warrior came in a Riverkit saved me and chased him off!" Stonekit said and continued with more detail. Shadowfang was very stunned by this. Dawnstar emerged from the camp entrance, horrified at what had happened. "Dawnstar, I need to speak with you urgently about the battle." Shadowfang mewed. Dawnstar nodded and the two headed to the leader's den.
