...Blossom faded and so did the surroundings, the beautiful cave melting away. Even Leopardpaw had faded, Riverpaw though was now aware that her eyes were closed. She slowly opened them and was still in the cave, but it wasn't Blossom she saw, it was Shadowfang, Swiftwing, and Leopardpaw who was just opening her eyes too. Shadowfang breathed a sigh of relief when she saw them awaken. "You've been like that for a while!" Swiftwing mewed worriedly as they seemed confused. "A storm is blowing at the moment and we'll have to wait until it passes." Shadowfang mewed grimly. The four cats awaited for the storm to cease.
A few days later, they all stretched from their uncomfortable positions. They started the long journey home, but it was a relief to be walking around. When they made it back to camp the rest of the clan crowded around them. Once they crowd was satisfied with their story and left, Dawnstar motioned with her tail for Riverpaw to come. She told Riverpaw about Stonepaw, and Riverpaw stood there paralyzed with grief. Dawnstar led Riverpaw to the Apprentice's Den for some rest. While in the clearing, Dawnstar saw the horror and guilt struck faces of the Medicine Cats. Hopefully everything would be back to normal soon. She realized it was time for a patrol. "Something perfect to get the clan back to normal." Dawnstar thought. she padded over by the Tall Stone to arrange it.
